Describe Impact:

Release 8.4 and Interim Release 8.4.0 will be implemented on Saturday, November 17, 2018.

The application outage begins on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 6:00 AM, and will continue until Saturday, November 17, 2018 at approximately 2:00 PM. Users will not be able to access the CWS/CMS application during this period. All application updates will be applied beginning Saturday, November 17, 2018 and should be available to counties as of Saturday afternoon at 2:00 PM November 17, 2018.

Coex County Users

Coexistent county CWSCMS.MSI file availability:

The CWSCMS.MSI file (dated October 5, 2018) became available on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 for technical staff to begin testing the installation of the release. The code will be located on the CWSDFSr share in the following location:

  • \CODEDIST\Staging\R84

Dedicated County Users

For best results, do this the night before the release:

  • Reboot workstation and log into Windows
  • Reboot again and do not log into Windows
  • Leave workstation powered on
